Adults and children alike can experience firsthand various activities such as what it is like to make rope for sailing, move cargo, raise and lower huge sails, tie sailors knots, visit a steam engine and many more fun things to see and do at the SD Maritime Museum’s Sailor Days. The Goodguys 17th Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals is a colorful “Full Throttle Fun” hot rod & custom car automotive themed festival featuring over 2,500 hot rods, customs, classics, street rods, muscle cars & trick trucks through 1972 vintage. April 7-8

Padres baseball returns with a two-day block party in the East Village featuring food, music, games, and a beer garden set up along J Street. Ticket holders will score a free T-shirt at Friday’s game, and there’s a laser show scheduled for Saturday. Click here for more information.

Over 30 fantastic Hillcrest restaurants are participating, giving foodies a chance to sample some of their best and signature dishes. A multitude of local breweries and distilleries will be participating along with some of San Diego’s best chefs for an afternoon that you won’t forget. MVCBF is an all-inclusive event. April 23

Set in San Diego’s Balboa Park, the San Diego Earth Fair features a children’s parade, booths, educational exhibits, music and earth-friendly food! The annual Earth Fair in Balboa Park is the largest free annual environmental fair in the world. Earth Fair 2016 will be our 27th annual event! Each year, the Earth Fair draws around 60,000 visitors.



April 22 & 23

The 25th annual Oceanside Days of Art will be held on Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23, 2017, from 10 am to 5 pm. ODA is a juried fine art festival featuring up to and sometimes over 100 local artists selling a variety of unique artwork including paintings, sculptures, glass, ceramics, fine jewelry, and photography. April 27-30

A loved and eagerly anticipated tradition, Art Alive 2017 celebrates it’s 36th year and the stunning works of art on display in the Museum with more than 100 floral interpretations created by top local and national designers. Click here for more information.


May 7 

Since 1975, The Carlsbad Village Faire features over 850 unique vendors with a little of everything: arts and crafts, antiques, unique clothing, items from around the world, and more. Children’s rides, an international food center, and an old-fashioned pancake breakfast guarantee that you’ll find fun for the whole family!


May 13

The San Diego Air & Space Museum will host its 14th Annual Space Day celebration on Saturday May 13th from 10:00am-2:00pm! Space Day will feature demonstrations, giveaways, and hands-on activities with local and national space experts.

Fantasy on Ice has raised more than $1 million dollars for the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital! This is the only holiday rink in San Diego where 100% of proceeds directly benefit the nonprofit. Come skate with friends or family and enjoy a night on the rink!
